Barcelona’s Javier Mascherano has finally returned from his holidays after a long break from the Nou Camp.
The versatile defensive player, who renewed his contract until 2019 last week, played at the Copa America where he managed to reach the final with Argentina.
While Lionel Messi has already returned to training, Mascherano made his comeback on Monday, and celebrated the event on Facebook.
The Little Chief, who will now continue with the Catalan club for at least three more seasons, has posted a picture on his official Facebook page with his teammates during the practice with the words: “We’re back!”, although the excitement of his words isn’t matched by his expression in the shot!
Besides Masch, Luis Enrique has recovered more than nine players who had a slightly longer break then the others after a long summer of international competition at either the European Championship or the Copa America.
