Preliminary Arsenal transfer talks with Torino wing-back Bruno Peres are reportedly underway.
The 26-year-old Brazilian’s agent has already spoken to both clubs, according to Gazzette World, who claim that Torino are expecting a formal bid very soon.
Gazzette World say Torino will ask for €20m – a fee that put off Manchester City earlier this summer.
The Italian source report that City’s €18m bid was rejected by Torini, while Peres is also linked with interest from Barcelona, Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen.
Peres has never been capped by his country, but he plays like a typical Brazilian wing-back.
He is not rapid, but he can accelerate quickly, while his ball control and first touch are very impressive.
Despite being a fine player, one suspects that Peres would play second fiddle to current Gunners right-back Hector Bellerin were he to move to the Emirates this summer.

Bellerin was one of the best players in the Premier League last season, so he would be hard to displace.
However, a move for Peres would surely plunge the future of Mathieu Debuchy – who played just two Prem games last term – into serious doubt.
