Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Mainz attacking midfielder Yunus Malli according to the Mirror.
The report states that Malli has been a long-term target for Spurs and that Tottenham are preparing a move for the Turkey international. The Mirror goes onto say that Malli has a £7.5 million release clause included in his contract.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he expected his club to make more transfers summer.
“I expect some signings in the next few weeks. We will see what happens, but I expect some activity,” Pochettino told the Mirror.
Meanwhile, the Turkish outlet Fotospor have reported that Fenerbahce are have also interested in signing the Mainz midfielder.
Malli found the back of the net on 11 occasions and provided five assist in 36 appearances for Maniz last season. The attacking midfielder was also included in Turkey’s squad which competed at Euro 2016 this summer in France.
