The Bundesliga Giants Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to offload their star playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu this summer, but only at the right price.
The Turkish newspaper Aksam state that that Bayer Leverkusen squad manager Jonas Boldt’s wants to raise money from Calhanoglu in order to strengthen other areas of their squad. Meanwhile the Germany outlet Kicker also report that Bayer Leverkusen will listen to offer for Calhanoglu this summer.
According to TalkSport, the Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Calhanoglu. The report goes onto states states that the Bundesliga club want to cash in on the 22-year-old following impressive back-to-back in the Bundesliga.
Calhanoglu who joined Leverkusen from Hamburg for €14.5mback in 2014, has gone on to score 11 direct set-piece goals in the Bundesliga alone. The 22-year-old became the first ever Turkish international player to score against England in an international friendly in May.
