Arsenal are expected to face stiff competition in the race to sign Barcelona’s out-of-favour midfielder Arda Turan.
The Turkish outlet Mynet state that there are seven clubs interested in signing the Turkish international this summer. The report states that the Serie A trio, Inter, AC Milan and Juventus have the 29-year-old on their radar. Mynet goes onto states that Besiktas, Monaco and an unnamed Chinese club are also interested in Turan.
Turan currently has four years remaining on his contract with Barcelona however, according to The Express are trying to force the 29-year-old out this summer. Barca have signed Denis Suárez and Andre Gomez over the summer which will intensify competition for midfield spaces.
The Turkey international has lifted two trophies for Barca last season and his manager Luis Enrique has previously backed the midfielder. Turan is currently in England with the rest of the Barca squad for pre-season training.
