The Wales international midfielder Joe Allen has completed his transfer from Liverpool to Stoke City.
The Potters announced the transfer on their official website after the midfielder put pen-to-paper on a five year deal with Stoke. The Premier League side also posted out a tweet confirming the transfer.

Allen had 12 months remaining on his contract with Liverpool had struggled for regular first-team football since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
“I was really excited as soon as I heard of the Club’s interest and it wasn’t a difficult decision for me to make,” Allen was quoted as saying by The Sun.
“I am incredibly excited about my future here at Stoke City.”
The Sun goes onto state that Allen will wear the No 4 shirt for Stoke and will join his team-mates in the United States on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old was one of the stars of the show at Euro 2016 this summer and was named in the Euro 2016 team of the tournament for his performances with Wales.
Allen provided three assists and scored three goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool last season.
