Everton’s star striker Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a return to his former club Chelsea according to The Sun.
The daily tabloid states that Lukaku is keen on a move away from Goodison Park this summer and wants re-sign for his old club.
The report goes onto say that Everton boss Ronald Koeman has already begun a search for Lukaku’s replacement if a £deal can be struck with Chelsea for him to depart. Stoke City’s Marko Arnautovic is currently the front runner to replace Lukaku if he leaves this summer.
Everton have set a £75 million valuation on the 23-year-old in order to ward off interest, according to the Express.
The Belgium international joined Everton for £28 million from Chelsea back in in 2014. Lukaku scored 25 goals in 46 appearances for Everton in all competitions last season. The powerful striker also participated in Euro 2016 with Belgium but was unable to find the back of the net for his national team.
