The Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspurs have been linked with a move for the young Fenerbahce ace Ozan Tufan.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Spur’s are among several Premier league sides keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.
The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce have set a €20 million price tag on Tufan and are reluctant to accept a lower bid for their star man.
Tufan the provided Turkey with one of their few moments of joy during Euro 2016 when he scored against the Czech Republic. The 21-year-old ended up as the second youngest goal scorer at the Euro’s after the 18-year-old Portugal international Renato Sanches.
The box-to-box midfielder has established himself as a first team player at Fenerbahce and has cemented his place in Turkey’s midfield.
Tufan is highly rated in Turkey and head coach Vitor Pereira actually described him as a new Yaya Toure.
“He still has a lot to learn and that is my job but the world will soon have a central midfielder on the level of Yaya Toure on their hands,” he said speaking on Sport Tv following Turkey’s 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic.
