Outrageous £35m price tag set for Arsenal & Liverpool target after Euro 2016 performances

Newcastle United are seemingly trying to take advantage of Moussa Sissoko’s Euro 2016 performances by slapping a £35m price tag on the France international.

Sissoko was brought into the French team for the semi-finals and final, and was arguably their best player as they suffered defeat last night to champions Portugal.

The 26-year-old has already told French website Foot Mercato, via Sky Sports, that he wants to leave Newcastle this summer after their relegation to the Championship.

But it appears as though the Magpies are going to make it very difficult for Sissoko to leave, or milk every penny that they can get out of him from any potential suitor.

As Sky Sports reports, Sissoko previously described Arsenal as the club of his dreams, while The Express understands that Liverpool are also keen on the midfielder.

Although unstoppable on his day, no team is going to pay £35m for the inconsistent former Toulouse player, who has scored 12 goals in 133 matches for Newcastle.
