Manchester City’s Belgium international defender Jason Denayer has been the subject on an enquiry from Galatasaray according to the daily Turkish sports paper AMK.

The report states that Galatasaray are looking into the possibility of loaning Denayer for another season. However, AMK go onto say that any decision regarding the Belgium international’s future will be made by City’s newly appointed manager Pep Guardiola.

The Belgium international has found himself out on loan in the past two seasons. Denayer was one of Galatasaray’s star performers in a turbulent season which saw the Lion’s finish the league in seventh place but won the Turkish Cup.

The 21-year-old provided the assist for Lukas Podolski who scored the games only goal in the 1-0 victory over rivals Fenerbahce in the cup final.

Galatasaray will not compete in European competition next season due to a UEFA competition ban after failing to meet FFP guidelines.
