West Ham United are set to complete the loan signing of Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore.
A source close to Besiktas has told Caught-Offside’s Eren Sarigul that the Hammers will pay a €3 million fee to loan Tore for the season. An option to buy has also been included in the contract which is set at €13 million.
The 24-year-old has been a long-term target for West Ham manager Slaven Bilic and the Hammers had a bid for him rejected last month according to SkySports.
Tore established himself as one of the most highly sought after players in the Turkish league under the stewardship of Bilic who managed Besiktas for two seasons before taking over at West Ham last summer.
The Turkish international does have Premier League experience having risen through the ranks at Chelsea before his move to HSV and then Rubin Kazan before joining Besiktas.
Tore provided nine assists and scored six goals in 35 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions last season.
