Real Madrid appear to have made their second summer signing of 2016.

After re-signing Alvaro Morata by activating the buy-back clause in his Juventus contract, the Champions League winners have brought in another forward in the shape of 18-year-old Sergio Diaz.

Paraguayan Diaz took to Instagram last night to confirm his move.

Translated to English, his statement begins: “I am very grateful to the club that gave me everything, Cerro Porteno.”

It concludes: “I also wish to thank my new club, Real Madrid, for trusting me and giving me a great opportunity to show my game in Europe. I will give everything for the club where I always wanted to play and now give me this great opportunity.”

Diaz is likely seen as one for the future at Real.

However, the South American teen is quick, tricky and very confident on the ball.

His main weakness is that he is heavily reliant on his preferred left foot.
