As Wales continue to surpass expectations at Euro 2016 so Liverpool’s Joe Allen transfer value rises.
According to the Daily Mail, the Reds have set Allen’s price at £14m as a consequence of his fine form in France.
The newspaper add that Allen’s displays at the Euros are not the only reason behind Liverpool’s decision to raise the asking price of the 26-year-old.
Apparently, Liverpool feel that they needed to adjust their price to make it fit a market in which Arsenal have spent £35m on Switzerland’s Granit Xhaka – a player who has been outperformed by Allen at Euro 2016 – and which has seen United splash out £26m of Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Liverpool Echo reported last month that the Reds had rejected an offer of £8m from Swansea City for Allen, who has been at Anfield for four seasons since leaving the Swans in a £15m move.
