Cardiff City full-back Fabio da Silva is keen to see out his contract with Cardiff City despite interest from abroad.
A source close to the former Manchester United player has told CaughtOffside’s Eren Sarigul that his client has attracted attention from Europe and Brazil but is focused on seeing his current deal out with the Bluebirds.
Fabio moved to Cardiff from United on a three-year deal which expires in July 2017.
The former Brazil international’s career has been in free fall since joining United as a highly rated defender from Fluminense.
The Red Devils also decided to offload Fabio’s twin brother Rafael da Silva who now plies his trade at the Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Fabio has managed to secure a place in Cardiff’s starting line-up and has 23 appearances for the Championship club.
The 23-year-old will be best remembered this season for his goal against Middlesbrough.
