Chelsea captain John Terry is probably glad his didn’t go to Euro 2016 right now.
The former England skipper was on a beach soaking up the sun in Portugal today, while the embarrassed Three Lions squad returned to a disappointed nation – at London Luton and Manchester airports.
Terry took to Instagram and shared the above image of himself taking it easy with his wife Toni on Tuesday evening.
He captioned the photo with the message: “Great day at the beach with the family”.
However, JT seemed a little more stressed earlier in the day, when he shared a video of himself skipping in the gym.
Terry told his Instagram followers that he was “absolutely gutted” following England’s 2-1 defeat to Iceland, suggesting that the shock Euro 2016 exit had affected his sleep.
“I couldn’t sleep so I went and smashed the gym this morning getting ready for pre season.” wrote Terry in an Instagram caption.
