Twitter: Real Madrid legend christens Merengues’ latest Champions League triumph with bizarre new moniker

FC Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas took to Twitter to celebrate Real Madrid‘s Champions League triumph in a big way on Saturday.

The legendary stopper took a moment to bid farewell to the Decima—the tenth UCL crown that he and his teammates won in 2014—before welcoming in the ‘Undecima’, adopting the en vogue new term for the Merengues’ record eleventh title.

Real took the lead through Sergio Ramos, but Atleti pegged their fierce local rivals back when Yannick Carrasco-Ferreira struck a late equaliser to take the tie into extra time.

Los Blancos required the lottery of penalties to secure their record title haul, with the unfortunate Juanfran sending his spot kick against the post, before Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to hammer home Los Blancos fifth successful penalty.

35-year-old Casillas left Real last summer as one of the most decorated players of his generation.
