Paris Saint-Germain are set to up the ante as they look to bring Everton forward Romelu Lukaku to the Parc des Princes.
PSG have lost Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer, having allowed the Swedish forward to leave at the end of his contract.
The former AC Milan man may be 34, but he still ended the Ligue 1 season with a whopping 38 goals in 31 games and represents a considerable loss for the Parisians.
However, with money to burn, the capital club and reigning French champions will spend big to fill the void in their forward line, the Express are expecting Laurent Blanc’s side to move for Lukaku, who is valued by his club at £60 million.
The hitman has scored 61 goals in 121 games for Everton—including 18 goals in 37 Premier League outings—and, still only 23, would be an ideal long-term replacement for Lukaku.
