Pep Guardiola is planning to start his summer spending at Manchester City with an ambitious double raid on Real Madrid.
The Spanish coach will replace Manuel Pellegrini at the season’s end—a decision that was confirmed on transfer deadline day—and is already understood to be making plans to restructure the Citizens’ squad.
The Bayern Munich manager—who will contest the German Cup final against Borussia Dortmund this weekend—has identified right-back as a problem area for the Sky Blues, and thus is planning on bringing right-back Dani Carvajal to the Etihad Stadium [the Mirror as per AS].
However, the talented wideman isn’t the only international Guardiola wants to snare from the Etihad, with the Spanish source noting that the manager retains an interest in Toni Kroos.
