Experienced coach Muhsin Ertugral has picked out Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus as the ‘next big export’ to emerge from Brazil.
The starlet has been in the headlines recently as transfer speculation intensifies, and Ertugral is clearly excited by what he’s seen.
“The next big Brazil export is going to be Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras,” began the Turkish coach, who managed the Democratic Republic of Congo during the mid-90s.
“Bright, young talent,” he continued, writing on his @MuhsinErtugral Twitter handle, “very impressive, far advanced for his age.”
Clearly, a series of European giants are also captivated by the wonderkid’s talent, with Manchester United understood to have made a bid for the youngster—as per O Estadao de Sao Paulo [via The Sun].
However, the Red Devils are set for some major competition for the player—who is understood to have a buyout clause of £23.5 million—with the tabloid noting that the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on the forward’s services.
