Liverpool’s players were asked to do impressions of memorable film quotes – because, you know, banter – and vice-captain James Milner attempted his best Forrest Gump.
And now somebody, a Reds fan who wants to tarnish the legacy of Tom Hanks we assume, has taken the time to dub Milner’s head onto the body of the iconic character.
The Milner/Gump combination is so disturbing that it took me a couple of takes to realise that Reds playmaker Philippe Coutinho had morphed into a black woman!
‘Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get’, has never been more appropriate. I certainly did not expect to see this when I woke up this morning.
