Chelsea defender John Terry has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to retiring NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
The former England captain, writing on his johnterry.26 account, shared a picture of himself and the basketball legend, with Terry holding up the Los Angeles Galaxy’s famous #24 shirt.

Terry shared the shot with the word #relentless, clearly the Blues’ legend’s way of paying tribute to the retiring great, and summing up his magnificent career and attributes in one word.
Bryant retired on Thursday, calling time on a magnificent career.
The star retires with five NBA championships—a sterling career—and can look back on many highlights, as well as his fair share of off-court gossip.
It remains to be see what the future holds for Terry, who appears to be coming to the end of his time at Chelsea.
With his contract running out this summer, and with the Pensioners yet to offer their stalwart a new deal, it is appearing less and less likely that the 35-year-old will remain at the West London club.

Should he move and play elsewhere, Terry would cease to become a one-club man, a title that Bryant takes into retirement, having joined the Lakers in 1996, and having exclusively represented the 16-time NBA champions.
