Manchester City and their supporters know little but misery when it comes to the Champions League, and this is a sign that tonight could be more of the same.
Sergio Aguero, of all people, missed a golden chance from the penalty spot to give City a 3-2 aggregate advantage over Paris Saint-Germain in their quarter-final tie.

Aguero won the spot kick himself as goalkeeper Kevin Trapp clumsily hauled him down in the box, but could not convert as he sent his effort a few yards wide.
The Argentine striker is usually deadly from the spot, or just about anywhere. He emphatically put a penalty away in Saturday’s win over West Bromwich Albion.
While the current aggregate scoreline of 2-2 would still send City through to the last four on away goals, this penalty would have given them a valuable safety net.
Half-time: Manchester City 0(2)-0(2) PSG
