According to reports in Spain, Barcelona wonderkid Alen Halilovic would be ideally suited to a move to Valencia.
The young midfielder moved to Barca in 2014, when he switched to Catalonia from Dinamo Zagreb, moving initially to Barcelona B before moving up to the senior side last year.
However, to date, the 19-year-old Dubrovnik-born starlet has yet to establish himself in Barca’s first team, and was loaned out to Sporting Gijon for the duration of the season.
Speaking on the Tiempo de Descuento show on Gestiona Radio Valencia [as per Marca], the player’s agent Zoran Stojadinovic has insisted that Valencia would be a good destination for his client.
“Valencia is an ideal club for the player,” Stojadinovic began, before opening the suggestion that there could be another possible destination for his player.
“There are two perfect clubs for him,” the player representative continued, hinting that perhaps another side—with Marca speculating that Sevilla might be the other prospective suitors tipped by Stojadinovic.
It remains to be seen whether Stojadinovic is name-checking these other sides as potential long-term destinations for the teenager—who signed a five-year contract at Barca when he moved in March 2014—or whether, and more likely, they are proposals for another loan next season.
