Chelsea ready to SHATTER transfer record for Antonio Conte’s favorite player

Between his age and his remarkable talent, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has arguably the brightest future of any player in world football – and nobody knows that better than incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. From 2012 to 2014, Conte molded Pogba into a raw prospect from the Man United academy into a world superstar and a multiple-time Serie A title winner to boot. The pair worked so well together that Conte will pay any price to reunite with his star pupil.

According to The Sun, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is willing to shatter the world transfer record and pay Juventus £97 million to meet Pogba’s buyout clause and sign the 23-year-old superstar. The mark would be over £10 million more than the sum Real Madrid paid Tottenham Hotspur for Gareth Bale in 2013.

Pogba has eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions for Juventus this season. He won the prestigious Golden Boy award under Conte in 2013 en route to the Europa League semifinals before winning the Bravo award in 2014.
