Jurgen Klopp has his four eyes set on one of Europe’s top midfield talents, 19-year-old Riechedly Bazoer, and is willing to take Liverpool to battle against Arsenal to secure the young stud’s signature.
According to the Metro, Liverpool are scouting Bazoer carefully ahead of a possible summer transfer move for the Ajax starlet.
Per the source, Arsenal have been linked to the Dutch youngster who the Metro noted has drawn comparisons to club legend and NYC FC manager Patrick Vieira. Barcelona and AC Milan have also expressed interest in Bazoer.
Bazoer has scored six goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Ajax since making his debut for the Dutch giants’ first-team in 2013. He received his first call up to the Netherlands national team this past October and made his debut in a November match against Wales.
Liverpool have a history of working out deals with Ajax. In 2011 they acquired a talented forward named Luis Suarez for £22.8 million.
