Arsenal great Robert Pires proved that he’s ‘still got it’ this weekend, when he bagged a wondergoal in a Las Vegas legends match.
As the video—courtesy of Hoy TV—shows, the attacker sped through the opposition half, evaded the attentions of his former France teammates and former Real Madrid star Christian Karembeu, before finishing sharply with his right foot into the corner of the goal.

While Pires celebrated joyously with his teammates, Karembeu slumped to the turf in despair at having been bested by his compatriot’s fancy footwork.
42-year-old Pires began his career at Metz before moving to domestic giants Olympique de Marseille in 1998.
He left OM for Arsenal in 2000 and enjoyed great success during six years in North London, during which he won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the Charity Shield on two occasions.
He ended his career after stints with Villarreal, Aston Villa and FC Goa, while he also lifted both the World Cup and the European Championships with France.
