According to reports, West Bromwich Albion have added their name to the growing list of Premier League sides keen on Havard Nordtveit.

The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder was a former Arsenal youth prospect, and was heavily tipped for a move back to the EPL both during the summer and in the January transfer window.

The Norway international has been linked with a move back to the Gunners, with Arsene Wenger keen to bolster his midfield options. The Emirates Stadium heavyweights signed Mohamed Elneny earlier this year, but they are set to lose Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla and Mathieu Flamini during the summer when their contracts come to an end.

Liverpool are also understood to be monitoring the 25-year-old, with Jurgen Klopp understood to be keen on following up the addition of Joel Matip with a move to sign a second Bundesliga star.

With Nordtveit’s contract coming to an end this summer, the Albion are the latest side to be monitoring his progress, although as well as the Gunners and the Reds, both Southampton and West Ham United may set to rival Tony Pulis for the player’s signature according to the Mirror.
