Petr Cech set a new record for Premier League clean sheets last night as he kept Bournemouth at bay in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium.

The 33-year-old’s 170th Premier League shutout, in his 352nd game, saw him surpass ex-Liverpool and Manchester City goalkeeper David James’s tally of 169.
Most of that total came during Cech’s spell at Chelsea, and several of his former Stamford Bridge teammates took to social media to congratulate the Czech.
Many of his Arsenal colleagues, a couple of goalkeeping greats and the previous record-holder were also among those to toast Cech’s fantastic achievement…
