Rap icon Snoop Dogg is a massive sports fan, showing love to both Norwich City and the USC Trojan. But the star entertainer appears to have added yet another team to his repertoire of supported outfits, namely MLS newcomers New York City FC.
In a tweet from the NYC FC official account, the club revealed that the celebrity rapper was the newest supporter of the Yankee Stadium-based outfit.

NYC FC fell short of making the MLS Cup Playoffs this year but still featured one of the best offenses in the league thanks to Spanish legend David Villa, who scored 18 goals for the club in his first year in MLS.
The club finished the year with 49 goals – sixth in the league – but were tied for the most goals allowed and finished in the bottom half of the rankings. Nonetheless, the club still had the third-highest attendance in the league and two of the most highly-attended games of the season.
