Chelsea midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Pedro could be ready to make a shocking move to Premier League rivals Manchester City should Pep Guardiola take over from Manuel Pellegrini, according to Spanish publication Don Balon.
The Spanish international have both previously featured under Guardiola at Barcelona, but have both struggled for form at Stamford Bridge this term.
Fabregas in particular has come in for some serious criticism from Blues fans after his perceived role in Jose Mourinho’s sacking last week, while Pedro has failed to get out of second gear despite a bright start.
Reports recently have claimed that Guardiola, who is now confirmed to be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season, is being linked with taking over from Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad, and should the move come to fruition reports in Spain suggest that he would look to bring the two Chelsea stars with him.
The 44-year-old is no stranger to a bold move in the transfer market, having singed a veteran Xabi Alonso last year, so it would perhaps not be such a shock to see the players make the move to Manchester.
