Chelsea and Man United given boost in hunt for England under-21 striker

Saido Berahino is in trouble again after becoming involved with Chelsea Lovelace

Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea have been given a huge boost in their hunt for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino after learning that the Baggies are refusing to do business with Tottenham, according to the Daily Express.

The striker has struggled for form and game time in the West Midlands this season, as manager Tony Pulis has preferred to use summer signing Salomon Rondon instead.

Berahino came close to joining Spurs over the summer, only to see Baggies chief Jeremy Peace rejecting their bids.

Spurs are expected to make another move for the player in the new year, but Peace is refusing to do business with the club after accusing them of unsettling the youngster.

The news will now come as a huge boost to both United and Chelsea, who have also been linked with making a move for his signature.

The Blues have been reliant on the out of form Diego Costa, while United have been limited in their choices with only Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial to choose from.
