Arsenal will reportedly sign Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin in the January transfer window, according to Russian publication Izvestia.
The Gunners have apparently been in talks with the Russian Premier League side, and have been told that they can either snap him up in a cut price £4.3million deal next month, or wait until the end of the season when they will be able to pick him up for free.
However, it is believed that Arsene Wenger is not keen on waiting and will make a move to bring him on board in the new year, with the Izvestia report claiming that a deal has already been agreed between the two.
Arsenal held talks with the player over the summer, but terms could not be agreed on from either side.
But negotiations have opened again and Arsenal are now in a much better position to land their summer target sooner rather than later.
