Leicester City goal machine Jamie Vardy achieved legendary status on Saturday when he found the back of the net for a record 11th consecutive Premier League game.
He kept a lid on his excitement as he spoke to Sky Sports after the 1-1 draw with Manchester United, killing fans’ hopes that Jamie Vardy was actually soon to be having a party.
Vardy may be too busy scoring goals like a boss to party right now, but we can confirm that the 28-year-old is planning a big jamboree next year.
That’s because Vardy is getting married on May 25 to girlfriend Rebekah Nicholson.
The couple had originally been due to tie the knot in early June, but the date would have clashed with Euro 2016.
With Vardy now a firm fixture in Roy Hodgson’s England team, Rebekah ordered her man to bring their wedding forward.

Jamie and Rebekah have been through a lot together, including parenthood and a rapid rise to serious wealth.
Rebekah was also sat next to Jamie the night he was caught on camera – later to be exposed in The Sun on Sunday – shouting “Jap, walk on” during a heated confrontation at a casino.
