This is another one for Sandra Redknapp, as she surely could have done a better job than Brazilian ace Deyverson here.
During Real Betis’ 1-0 victory over Levante on Friday, the former Benfica man had the ideal opportunity to put his side back on level terms but spurned it in spectacular fashion.
Seizing on a misplaced backpass, Levante broke and were unlucky not to score with a cheeky chipped effort that hit the post. The ball bounced back out to Deyverson, who managed to hit the bar from all of six yards with a gaping goal and could only watch as the ball drop harmlessly into the Betis goalkeeper’s arms.
Unluckily for him, Betis were held on, and with January on the horizon, Sandra may need to get her scoring boots out of the closet once again!
