Brendan Rodgers may not be looking for work at the moment but that situation will likely change this summer for the former Liverpool manager.
Plenty of jobs appear poised to open up in the near future, not the least of which appear to be top managing positions in the Premier League like Chelsea and Manchester United or even La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Here we take a look at five clubs that should seriously consider Rodgers as a manager for the 2016-17 season:

Chelsea
In spite of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s history of choosing non-English coaches to manage his club, Rodgers will likely be one of the top candidates available should Jose Mourinho leave on his own or be forced out – especially with so many top candidates likely to stay right where they are next year.
England
An obvious choice with Roy Hodgson getting a bit old, Rodgers would inspire new life into England with Euro 2016 on the horizon.
Real Madrid
Not beating Barcelona is one thing, getting annihilated in a 4-0 blowout can get you fired though, and that appears to be Rafa Benitez’s fate if Real Madrid can’t recover from their bad play in El Clasico.
Rodgers has the personality to add some more fire to a talent-saturated Real Madrid roster.
Aston Villa
Remi Garde does not appear to be the answer for the soon-to-be relegated club. While not an ideal destination for a manager who will get interest from top club, should he turn Aston Villa around a lot of doors would become open to him.
Manchester United
Rodgers is young, talented and has experience dealing with a rabid fanbase. While not a perfect destination he would be exactly the kind of manager Man United fans crave: fiery, intelligent, young and thick-skinned.
