Chelsea are ready to sign Galatasaray’s Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder, 31, in January by paying his release clause, according to Turkish publication Fanatik.

Mourinho has previously worked with the Dutchman and wants him to lead the club’s revival in the new year.
