Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing Sofiane Boufal have been dealt a blow with the news that Valenica have added their name to the player’s growing list of suitors.
According to Deporte Valenciano, the Spanish heavyweights are keen on signing the Morocco attacker and are eyeing the LOSC Lille forward as the solution to their dearth of creativity and attacking menace in the midfield and the attack.
The Spanish source report that Valencia are considering a move for the player and may look to pounce during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old—who has been one of the outstanding individuals of the Ligue 1 season so far—has also been linked with a move to domestic heavyweights Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain.

Spurs were linked with the player during the summer, and while Boufal’s performances this season have only seen his stock rise, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham—who have impressed offensively this term—are still looking to recruit.
