Barry edges above James. The 34-year-old features in 12 Premier League seasons for Aston Villa, before moving to Manchester City in 2009 and then to Everton in 2013.

Barry probably has enough left in the tank to sneak past Lampard on the all-time appearance list. He has no chance of matching the Chelsea legend’s goal record though. Lampard scored 147 Prem goals for Chelsea alone, not even mentioning his strikes for West Ham United and Manchester City. Meanwhile, Barry’s combined total for his three clubs currently stands at 50.

The Welsh wizard is the only one-club man on this list. He devoted his career to Manchester United and was rewarded with 13 Premier League titles.
