Shakhtar Donetsk striker Alex Teixeira has said that he already has an offer from Premier League strugglers Chelsea to sign for them in January, according to the Metro.
The 25-year-old has been in prolific form so far this season, bagging 16 goals in 11 games – something that the Metro highlight as being greater than Robert Lewandowski’s efforts for Bayern Munich.
And the playmaker has said that he would be keen on completing a move to Stamford Bridge in the new year (via Metro).
“I have an offer,” he told reporters in Ukraine.
“It was a pleasure to know that Chelsea wants to sign me.
“It would be great if the transfer already happens in January.”
Having begun his career with Vasco da Gama in his homeland, he made the move to the Ukraine in 2009, where he has gone on to bag 80 goals in 215 appearances across all competitions.
