Toronto police have issued arrests warrant for two Brazilian footballers that featured in last summer’s Pan American games.
And the two players that have been named are Andrey da Silva Ventura of Botafogo, and Reading midfielder Lucas Piazon, who is on loan from Chelsea.
The assault is said to have taken place on the morning of July 26th, when Piazon and Ventura met with two women at a nightclub before taking them back to where they were staying.
And according to Canadian media outlet CTV News, the victim was assaulted by the two men when she went to sleep.
Following an initial investigation, Toronto police have issued arrest warrants for 22-year-old Andrey Da Silva Ventura and 21-year-old Lucas Domingues Piazon.
The Toronto Police issued a statement on their website, detailing the public of the arrest warrants.
“The two men have now been identified, and arrest warrants have been issued for
Lucas Domingues Piazon, 21, and Andrey Da Silva Ventura, 22. They are both wanted for:
1. Sexual Assault.”
