Manchester United are said to be weighing up a £3m bid to sign teenage Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic, according to the Daily Express.
The 19-year-old is currently on the books of Red Star Belgrade, with the Express reporting via the Daily Mail that he has been impressing watching scouts with his recent form.
The Express claims that Grujic is being tipped to be a long term replacement for the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick, and highlighted his other attributes with a stunning 30-yard wonder goal in the game against FK Rad Beograd last weekend (via Express).
His displays have earned him comparisons with Chelsea star Nemanja Matic, something that he lived up to during the Serbia World Cup win at under-20 level in New Zealand this year.
However, it is thought that he has emerged as a top target for Chelsea, due to the London clubs links with the Serbian giants, with the Express claiming that the Blues have already run the rule over him.
