Man United team news: Van Gaal set to drop Memphis Depay for Everton clash

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is reportedly prepared to drop summer signing Memphis Depay for this weekend’s clash with Everton, according to the Metro.

The Dutch international has so far started in every single one of United’s eight Premier League games this season, and even opened his account in front of goal during the 3-0 victory over Sunderland last month (via Metro).

However, following The Netherlands’ failure to qualify for Euro 2016, the 21-year-old has come in for some serious criticism, as ex-Dutch international Youri Mulder claimed that the Red Devils were “fed up” with his recent attitude (via Metro).

And now the Daily Star is claiming that United chief Louis van Gaal is ready to drop him to the bench for this weekend’s meeting with The Toffees in order to refocus his efforts.

Recently, United assistant boss Ryan Giggs warned Memphis about his off-field antics following his poor performance in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal before the international break (via Mirror).
