Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper is apparently open to a move to Arsenal according to the Metro.
The 20-year-old is yet to feature in La Liga action but played in both Copa del Rey and Champions League fixtures last season.
However Samper hasn’t managed a single minute of first-team action this term and is ready to bid farewell to the Nou Camp in order to better serve his career progression and Arsene Wenger is known to be a fan and of course has previously raided Barcelona for top talents.
Samper is said to have an £8.5m release clause written into his contract and that’s a fee Wenger may well be ready to pay for the Spanish Under 21 international.

Arsenal have in the recent past brought in the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin from Barcelona and Luis Enrique may not stand in Samper’s way if he pushes for a move to the North London outfit.
Samper is a strong running defensive midfield talent who has a bright future ahead of him and could provide Wenger with a fresh option in the middle of the park.
