Arsenal transfers: 3 in, 3 out as Sanchez to be replaced by La Liga star & Liverpool target signed in midfield

Arsenal transfers – major changes expected at the Emirates Stadium.

There could be some major Arsenal transfers taking place in the next few months as rumours grow over players heading for the exit and possible replacements.

According to recent reports, the following are three ins and outs expected for the Gunners over the course of January and possibly next summer:

Out – Alexis Sanchez

After Arsenal’s failures in the Champions League this season, reports in Spain today suggest that Alexis Sanchez wants out of north London and could leave at the end of this campaign.

In – Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

An ideal replacement up front, Arsenal need a striker of Karim Benzema’s quality, and may finally be able to afford the Real Madrid man if they let Sanchez go.

Out – Mathieu Flamini

Despite his heroics against Tottenham recently, Mathieu Flamini has not been a regular for Arsenal for some time now and could be let go at the end of his contract in the summer.

In – William Carvalho (Sporting Lisbon)

A fine defensive midfield player, William Carvalho of Sporting Lisbon has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and other big clubs in recent times and could be the perfect signing to strengthen in that DM role.

Out – Mesut Ozil

Not at his best since moving to Arsenal, Mesut Ozil could be heading to Fenerbahce in the summer transfer window after surprise developments, leaving the Gunners short of creativity.

In – Isco (Real Madrid)

A like-for-like replacement, Arsenal could bring in long-term target Isco, who has been linked with an exit from Real Madrid, with Chelsea and Manchester City also monitoring his situation.
