Portland Timbers drew 0-0 with Sporting Kansas City last night in a horrendously drab MLS encounter.
Thankfully, United States international and Kansas City defender Matt Besler was on-hand to help lighten the mood in his post-match interview.
When asked about the result, this was his response to the journalist:
“This is always a very difficult place to play. It was a hard-fought draw. I tell you the real winner today is the city of Portland. Every time we come here it gets harder to leave. I bet you guys put something in the water.”
