PL giants handed major transfer boost.
Chelsea and Manchester United could be handed a major boost to their plans for the January transfer window, with John Stones asking for a £38m release clause in his new contract with Everton.
The England international is one of the most sought-after young talents in the game at the moment, having shone in the Premier League since becoming a Toffees regular in 2013/14.

Stones was linked with a move to Chelsea throughout the summer, though the Blues failed with numerous bids due to the player’s asking price of close to £45m.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old could now demand a buy-out clause of £7m less than that if he is to renew his deal at Goodison Park, which would be good news for both Chelsea and United.
