Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal WILL soon rediscover goalscoring touch following back-to-back blanks at the Emirates

during the Barclays Premier League match between Arsenal and West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on August 9, 2015 in London, England.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident his side will soon find their goalscoring touch ahead of the home game against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners are yet to register a goal in either of their first two games at the Emirates Stadium this season after a shock defeat to London rivals West Ham United on the opening day before being held to a goalless draw by Liverpool a couple of weeks ago.

In fact two of the three goals scored by the north London outfit in the Barclays Premier League so far have been credited as own goals and striker Olivier Giroud is currently the club’s top scorer with just one.

Speaking ahead of the clash against the Potters, Wenger insists it’s just a matter of time before his side start finishing off the chances they create:

“We have created the chances and that’s what we want to continue to do,” the Frenchman told the club’s official website.

“I believe that the finishing is a bit cyclical, up and down, and we are the team who has created the most chances since the start of the season, so let’s just continue to focus on the quality of our game.”

“It is about the efficiency and the quality of our game, we can score goals and I am not worried about that. We have Alexis, we have Giroud and we have Walcott. It is a massive opportunity for them of course,” Wenger added.
