Manchester United starlet received more than TWENTY summer transfer enquiries

Manchester United striker James Wilson was bombarded by more than twenty clubs wanting to take him on loan for the 2015-16 season.

According to the Daily Mail, the England Under-21 international was in high demand in the final week of the summer transfer window, with clubs across the country itching to sign him on a temporary deal for the new campaign.

And, the British newspaper claim that the Red Devils were willing to grant Wilson a move, before deciding that it may not be in their best interest following the sale of Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen and the loaning of Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund.

On deadline day, Wilson was informed by United officials that he was a part of Louis van Gaal’s first-team plans and would be handed opportunities in the senior side.

However, he is said to be growing frustrated at his lack of playing time in Manchester, suggesting that this season could be make or break for his Old Trafford career.

Derby County are rumoured to be monitoring his situation, but face significant competition for his signature.
