Cesc Fabregas is Chelsea’s weak link, here’s five ideal replacements Blues MUST sign, including Pogba & Premier League star

Five midfielders Chelsea must look at to replace struggling Fabregas.

Cesc Fabregas has been panned by fans and pundits alike after another lacklustre performance for Chelsea this weekend, so here are five ideal targets the Blues should consider to sign as the Spaniard’s replacement before the end of the transfer window…

1) Paul Pogba (Juventus)

One of the best young players in the world, Juventus star Paul Pogba has been strongly linked with Chelsea this summer in a £70m deal. Although expensive, the Frenchman has his best years ahead of him, unlike Fabregas, and would make a superb addition in midfield.

2) Koke (Atletico Madrid)

A like-for-like replacement for Fabregas, Atletico Madrid playmaker Koke has been on the Blues’ radar before and could be an ideal buy if he is available for somewhere in the region of £44m.

3) Isco (Real Madrid)

A classy and creative player with an eye for goal, Isco has shone at Real Madrid but now faces increased competition for a starting place, with Chelsea believed to be monitoring his situation this summer in what would be a smart move.

4) Marco Verratti (PSG)

Almost identical to a young Fabregas in his playing style, Marco Verratti is a huge talent and key peformer for Paris Saint-Germain, though he has been linked with bigger clubs in recent times and Chelsea should keep an eye on his situation.

5) Ross Barkley (Everton)

Probably the best young midfielder in England, Ross Barkley looks back to his best for Everton this season and would be a superb fit in Chelsea’s midfield, though the Toffees have shown themselves to be tough negotiators as the Blues also chase John Stones.
