Football agent Muzzi Ozcan has ruled out Arsenal signing Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, reports the Daily Star.
The 27-year-old has been linked to the Gunners throughout the summer, but a move has not materialised for the player as of yet. Manchester United have also been linked to the striker, but Ozcan hasn’t mentioned the Red Devils’ chances of signing the France international.
The Premier League sides are interested in the forward after a season in which he managed 15 goals and 10 assists in 29 La Liga games for Los Merengues. This is superior to Arsene Wenger’s regular striker Olivier Giroud, who netted 14 times and assisted three in 27 top flight matches.

The Red Devils are also in need of a player to spearhead their attack, with captain Wayne Rooney looking out of form in the first couple of matches of the season. Javier Hernandez and James Wilson are their only other options in the position, which will surely need to be improved if they are going to challenge for the league title.
